The historic grounds include 25 grass tennis courts, 19 clay tennis courts, and numerous gardens and landscaped areas.

Applicants are not expected to have experience in tennis court maintenance, but rather a desire to excel in any area of the turfgrass management industry. This position is an ideal opportunity to increase experience in turfgrass management, including experience in professional-level grass and clay tennis court maintenance.

Expect to be involved in all aspects of turfgrass management, including, but not limited to: operating specialized turf equipment, field layout and painting, chemical applications for plant health, irrigation operations, managing staff and attending crew and club committee meetings and events.

Ability and desire to work independently, with the sports turf management team and supervise the seasonal grounds staff and groups of all ages and abilities.

The utmost attention to detail is required to provide the highest quality playing surfaces and landscaped grounds achievable.
