Description

We are looking for an experienced business developer with closed renewable energy projects (Commercial and Industrial focused projects) to lead a small team to develop projects across Africa.

With an impressive track record of successfully securing commercially viable off-take agreements with mines, heavy energy users, commercial, agricultural and other industrial companies, you will provide leadership to the teams spread across East and West Africa, and lead origination of projects in the North African space.

You will bring to play depth of experience in the full project lifecycle, including the ESG considerations of European Investment banks.

This role is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and as such requires work and living rights in Kenya.

Exp in Steam Energy, Solar, Thermal Power, Biomass and Biogas.

Experience in originating and selling boiler related closed energy systems will also apply.

Strong understanding of EIAs, Engineering design process and reviews, financial modelling, and commercial development of energy projects.
