Description
OverviewAbout Mohawk Golf Club
Founded in 1898, Mohawk Golf Club is one of the most storied private clubs in upstate New York, located in the heart of the Capital District. The club features a premier 18-hole championship golf course and a welcoming membership community that blends tradition with forward-thinking vision.
Now under single ownership, the club has recently invested significant resources into facility improvements and is positioned for sustained growth and modernization - while preserving its classic golf heritage.
The Opportunity
Mohawk Golf Club is seeking an experienced and motivated PGA Head Golf Professional to lead all aspects of the club's golf operation. This is a rare opportunity for a self-starter who values autonomy, accountability, and the ability to shape a department's structure, staffing, and culture. There is a PGA Director of Instruction and a PGA Pro-Emeritus at the facility that will be part of the Mohawk Golf Club staff.
We're looking for an independent, creative thinker who thrives in a results-oriented environment - someone who doesn't wait for direction but instead builds solutions. You'll be empowered to design and lead your own team, create operational systems, and establish service standards that elevate the member golf experience.
