They are now recruiting for an Associate for their Internal Audit function and are ideally looking for an early stage studier, part-qualified or Finalist candidate (ACA/CIA/IIA/ACCA/CPA/CA) with experience from the banking sector with a min. of 18-24 months of internal or external audit experience. Profile Criteria:

1. 1. Early stage studier, part-qualified or Finalist candidate (ACA/CIA/IIA/ACCA/CPA/CA) with experience from the banking sector (either from industry or covering banking clients / portfolio in a chartered accountancy practice)
   2. Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills with the ability to clearly communicate to management both verbally and in writing
   3. Candidates must bring a min. of 18 - 24 months of internal or external audit experience

Responsibilities:

In this role you will be accountable and responsible for:

• • Timely execution of audit engagements in accordance with the Audit Manual, regulatory requirements and professional standards. This includes drafting Audit Findings and addressing review points raised by the Auditor in Charge and/or Audit Partner.
  • Identify and assess key risks within the business processes and operations.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Follow-up on audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective remediation.
  • The Associate will also be expected to contribute to the Internal Audit Department's initiatives and work collaboratively across EMEA.
