Responsibilities
- Performing patient workups, obtaining patient medical histories, and performing specialized diagnostic testing.
- Travels to Satellite locations.
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms.
- Maintains clean working environment, stocked rooms, equipment, and EOC guidelines.
- General clinic support functions.
- Must have the ability to perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
- Continuous learning to advance to assist physicians and ability to scribe.

Requirements
Education, Training, and Experience
- 1-2 years of office experience working in a medical setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with patients, physicians, management, and employees.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new software.
- Proficient in understanding reading and interpreting all contents of the paper and electronic medical charts (ERM).
- Excellent Organizational skills, multi-task, and logical thinking.
- Ability to be proactive, take initiative, and perform well in a fast-paced, high-volume practice.
- Basic understanding of eye anatomy, medical terminology, ocular pathology, and eye diseases.

Maintains strict confidentiality regarding protected health information (PHI) and understands and adheres to TNR’s HIPAA privacy and security policies and procedures.
Typical Physical and Working Demands
Position requires prolonged walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and stretching. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is required. Employees must have a standard hearing range and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Employees must have a standard hearing range and eyesight to record and prepare paper and MDI chart notes
and documents. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
