CIFC Health, a project of Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc., seeks a part-time X-Ray Technician. The ideal candidate will be ARRT-certified with experience performing diagnostic X-rays in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You'll play a vital role in assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by producing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
 - Position patients accurately and safely to obtain optimal imaging.
 - Operate radiographic equipment, adjusting techniques as necessary for patient condition and area of interest.
 - Ensure all imaging is stored and documented accurately in the PACS system.
 - Maintain a clean, safe, and patient-friendly environment.
 - Comply with all HIPAA, infection control, and radiation safety guidelines.
 - Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
 - Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
 - Performs other related duties as assigned.
 
Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED; and
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
 - ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required.
 - Valid Connecticut state radiologic technologist license.
 - BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent) required.
 - 1+ year of experience preferred (new grads with clinical experience may be considered).
 - Excellent communication and patient care skills.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
