Calusa Country Club, located in Bradenton, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Assistant Mechanic! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overhaul and repair maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment and other power equipment
• Lubricate and service all equipment
• Inspect equipment for operating deficiencies and make routine adjustments where necessary
• Maintain up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs and their components
• Inspect, change and repair tires
• Assist in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff
• Clean working areas after repair work is completed
• Assist in fabricating, body repair and painting
• Adjust cutting units on mowing equipment
• Assist on the maintenance crew and operate mowing equipment when servicing is complete
• Assist in training the maintenance staff in the proper care and upkeep of the golf course equipment
• Operate or train to operate various types of maintenance equipment as needed
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance
• Perform other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certificate from college or technical school
• Must have 2+ years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance
• Must have a valid driver's license

Other Qualifications:

• Must be a quick learner and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required
• Regular and reliable attendance
