- Analyse monitoring outputs, trends, and data patterns to identify risks, control gaps, and enhancement opportunities
- Partner with technology teams and external providers to ensure monitoring solutions meet evolving business and regulatory requirements
- Oversee outsourced monitoring-related services and act as a key stakeholder for vendor and third-party management activities

- Leverage large datasets and BI tools to generate actionable insights and improve monitoring effectiveness
- Manage and maintain user access frameworks, roles, permissions, and governance controls within financial crime systems
- Support internal audits, regulatory reviews, and control assessments through technical analysis and reporting
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, Data, and Technology teams to drive continuous improvement across the financial crime framework
About You
- Several years of experience within Financial Crime Compliance, AML, Fraud Prevention, Transaction Monitoring, or a related area
- Strong understanding of AML and financial crime risks, typologies, and regulatory expectations
- Hands-on experience with transaction monitoring, screening, or financial crime technology platforms
- Proven background in monitoring rule calibration, scenario validation, system optimisation, or model effectiveness reviews
- Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities, ideally including experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
- Experience working with large datasets, data models, and analytical frameworks
- Ability to interpret business and regulatory requirements and translate them into practical monitoring solutions
- Experience managing third-party providers or outsourced services is advantageous
- Knowledge of AML and financial crime regulations within the German or broader European financial services environment is beneficial
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Technology functions
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail
This opportunity would particularly suit professionals coming from Transaction Monitoring, AML Systems, Financial Crime Analytics, Financial Crime Technology, Data Analytics, or Financial Crime Controls functions looking to take ownership of a critical monitoring and detection capability within a highly regulated environment.
