Kaiser Permanente in Palm Springs is actively seeking a general physiatrist or non-interventional spine specialist to join our dynamic outpatient PM&R team. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment—and to do so in one of the most desirable climates in the country.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a collegial, flexible, and patient-focused physiatrist with strong skills in the conservative management of spine and musculoskeletal conditions. In this position, you will work closely with primary care, interventional pain, neurosurgery, orthopedics, and neurology to deliver comprehensive care.
Clinical Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a broad range of spine and musculoskeletal disorders in an outpatient setting
- Performing trigger point injections and ultrasound-guided procedures (e.g., SI joint injections)
- Performing basic electrodiagnostic (EMG/NCS) evaluations
- Providing thoughtful, evidence-based, non-operative management of spine conditions
- Optional: Candidates with interventional spine fellowship training are welcome to apply, though fluoroscopic procedures are not required

- Board-eligible or board-certified Physiatrist (PM&R)
- Strong foundation in musculoskeletal and spine medicine

Salary range for full-time/part-time openings is $311,975.00 - $367,575.00. Potential premium earnings are up to $7,116.00. Salaries are inclusive of incentives depending on skills and competencies and geographic location. Potential premium earnings are based on location. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort.
