While this opportunity is based out of SASH Western Sydney, we are seeking a full-time Medicine Specialist who will work across multiple SASH locations within our NSW network. This unique model provides exposure to diverse caseloads, collaboration with a large team of specialists, and the flexibility to shape a role that aligns with your professional interests and lifestyle.
We also welcome applications from specialists interested in a part-time position with our Western Sydney team. Please note that visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available for full-time positions only.

The Opportunity
We're expanding our Medicine team and are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Internal Medicine Specialist or board-eligible candidate to join:
Dr Lucy Barker, Dr Chelsea Lim, Dr Josh Kennils, and Dr Stephanie Shield
supported by our dedicated Internal Medicine Intern.
Our purpose-built hospital has been designed with specialist teams in mind and features:
- Siemens 64-slice CT
- 1.5 Tesla MRI
- Ultrasound
- Fluoroscopy
- Digital radiography
- Dedicated Medicine procedure area
- Endoscopy suite
What truly sets our department apart is our team. We are fortunate to work alongside an exceptional group of highly skilled Internal Medicine nurses who provide outstanding procedural support, deliver excellent client communication and education, and help ensure seamless patient care. Each specialist is supported daily by dedicated procedural nurses, allowing you to focus on delivering the highest standard of care.
The full-time role is designed around a 4-day work week, with time shared across multiple hospitals within our NSW Medicine network.
Requirements
About You
To be considered, you will:
- Value a culture of inclusivity, empathy and teamwork.
- Be eligible for veterinary registration in NSW, Australia.
- Hold specialist qualifications in Internal Medicine as a Fellow (ANZCVS) or Diplomate (ACVIM/ECVIM).
- Be board-eligible and seeking a supportive environment to complete your specialist pathway (strongly encouraged to apply).
