Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse range of legal disputes across multiple practice areas, including personal injury law, product liability law, civil litigation, premises liability, civil trials, construction defect, contract law, estate planning, tribal law and regulations, patent law, and more. As a Litigation Attorney, you will be instrumental in managing complex cases from inception through resolution, providing strategic legal counsel, and advocating vigorously for clients. Your expertise in legal research, negotiation, and legal drafting will be vital in ensuring successful outcomes. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all phases of litigation processes across various practice areas, including personal injury, product liability, civil litigation, premises liability, trials, construction defect, contract law, estate planning, and landlord-tenant conflicts.
Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Filevine to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related paperwork with precision and clarity.
Develop case strategies through thorough investigation and analysis of facts and applicable laws; negotiate settlements or alternative dispute resolutions when appropriate.
Represent clients confidently in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and administrative hearings while maintaining professionalism and advocacy skills.
Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives and provide clear guidance on legal options and potential outcomes.
Maintain meticulous records of case developments, correspondence, research findings, and administrative documentation within the law office management system.
Experience
Proven experience practicing litigation across multiple legal disciplines in civil litigation and trial work.
Strong knowledge of legal research tools including LexisNexis; ability to efficiently locate relevant case law and statutes.
Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality legal documents with excellent writing skills that clearly articulate complex legal concepts.
Experience conducting negotiations to achieve favorable resolutions for clients while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
Familiarity with the procedural aspects of litigation in both state and federal courts; understanding of courtroom procedures is essential.
Legal administrative experience managing case files efficiently within a busy law office environment.
