Cover in-house call with a low daily patient volume while choosing from multiple call shifts each month. This inpatient assignment focuses on cardiothoracic and vascular surgery coverage with admissions as needed.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery coverage
• Admissions required with no rounding responsibilities
• General cardiothoracic and vascular procedures including CABG, TAVR, valvular repair, and endovascular cases
• Supported by 2 Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners

Schedule

• In-house call coverage only
• Multiple call shifts available each month
• 20-minute response time
• Call coverage includes both surgical and inpatient responsibilities

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Active Missouri medical license required
• Board Certified in Thoracic Cardiovascular Surgery
• BLS, ACLS, and ATLS required

Logistics

• Travel accommodations provided as approved for the assignment
• Lodging arranged for covered shifts
