Portfolio Accounting and Data Services: Migration Senior Consultant
Responsible for working on single large scale, multiple projects or a work stream of projects. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join the Portfolio Accounting and Data Service Impact Zone program which is a multi year program focusing on building a new, best-in-class portfolio valuation, accounting and reporting domain.
Our ideal candidate would be a self-driven partner, with the ability to work independently as well as working in a team, and a willingness to take charge of a project to deliver results in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking a collaborative individual with strong technical and highly effective communication skills.
Major Duties. As a Migration Senior Consultant you will be expected to:
- Work with the Migration Lead to execute the migration strategies to migrate clients off Global and Domestic Data Loads and onto the new valuation and accounting platform, Finbourne.
- Test the migration strategy and schedule incorporating;
- Reconciliation of 2 years historical transactions
- Reconciliation of Clients prior to migration to ensure valuations on Finbourne are in line with legacy valuations
- Complete Dry runs of the Migration Runbook
- Develop detailed processes or procedural documentation for all critical steps involved in the client migrations/runbook
- Proactively highlight and log any program risks, actions, issues and dependencies relating to migration activities and driving items to resolution
- Partner with the agile teams on any reconciliation breaks which may require code changes
- Actively participate in lessons learnt exercises, identifying and documenting improvements for future migrations
- Ensure adherence to and compliance with the ECM and SDAM standards and controls
- Proven experience in delivering complex, multi year Transformation Program or within a Change Management Team
- Be familiar with Agile methodology and transformation practices
- An understanding of NT's legacy eco system (Fundmaster, GFA, GDL, DDL, MR, DB2) would be beneficial
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and work independently with minimal oversight
- Be highly versatile, thrive in a variable, fast paced environment with changing priorities and tasks
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred.
• 3 years as a Team Leader to move as a Section Manager currently at an Officer level.
• 24 months as a Consultant to move as a Senior Consultant. Movement within Senior Consultant and Section Manager is applicable if they have prior 36 months of people management experience.
