Description
OverviewOakland Hills Country Club is seeking a dependable, energetic, and service-oriented Driving Range Attendant to support the daily operations of our practice facilities. This position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional experience for members and guests by maintaining the driving range, short game areas, and practice putting greens to the club's high standards. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining a pristine facility, and is committed to providing outstanding member service.
Experience Required
- Previous golf course, grounds, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the game of golf is helpful but not necessary.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and during club events.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically active tasks, including walking, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Essential Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and/or close the driving range and practice facilities each day.
- Pick, clean, and replenish golf balls using range equipment and ball washers.
- Rotate and reposition hitting stations to preserve turf quality.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the driving range, practice greens, and surrounding areas.
- Ensure range baskets, tees, and practice equipment are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor practice areas to ensure member safety and adherence to club policies.
- Communicate with the Golf Shop and Outside Services team to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Perform light maintenance duties, including trash removal, sweeping, and reporting facility or equipment issues.
- Deliver exceptional service by assisting members and guests with questions and practice facility needs.
