SENIOR ANIMAL CARE TECHNICIAN Office of Research Administration Full Time Monday thru Friday 8-5 Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of edu / exp 5 years experience working in animal research. Available to work holidays, weekends, and for after hour on-call emergency coverage. Must be able to lift and transport equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs. Prevent exposure of animals / personnel to infectious agents. Be well organized, detail orientated, possess a strong work ethic, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be familiar working with computer word processing, databases, and spreadsheets, Work independently, follow instructions. Working knowledge of regulations / standards governing the care/ use of research animals.
