What You’ll Work On
- Boundary and ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
- Legal descriptions, easements, and title review
- Plats, exhibits, and mapping deliverables
- Survey support for development and renewable energy projects
- Multi-state project work (IL, WI, IA, IN, MO, AR and beyond)
What You Bring (Core Qualifications)
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of:
- Boundary surveys
- ALTA surveys
- Legal descriptions & easements
- Title review & real estate documentation
- Experience creating detailed plats, exhibits, and survey maps
- Working knowledge of the Public Land Survey System and BLM Manual
Tools & Technology
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with Trimble Business Center
- Familiarity with Trimble field equipment preferred
Professional Background
- 5–8+ years of experience in surveying (or more)
- Field crew experience is a plus—you understand both field and office workflows
- LSIT or PLS preferred, not required (multi-state licensure is a plus, not required)
- Open to career-driven early/new grad professionals pursuing licensure
